An ever-evolving & self-representing Canadian mixed media and collage artist, Patti has exhibited and sold her work since 2007. ‘Mediums’ include acrylic and enamel paints, collage elements – various found and vintage papers, pencil, metal leaf, plaster, metal and fabric. The core themes of her work revolve around perception and personal reflection, and the mysteriously ethereal elements of reality.

Patti’s mixed media & collage pieces evoke a curiosity and sense of mystery.  Each piece is a microcosmic journey of layers via intricate connections of text, texture and color. No two hint at the same truth, and each possess a unique voice. Her abstract acrylic paintings mirror the hazy, transient dream state of mind – each brush stroke, smudge and swear elicit the ethereal and fluid nature of the subconscious mind. Patti also creates numerous drawings, in graphite, chalk, mixed media & paint.  She has exhausted various abstract strains, created obsessive portraits of her little dog and numerous portraits and scenes from her daily life.  Most of these drawings have emerged from her participation in a daily drawing group on Twitter – #Draw365

Patti lives in Orillia, Ontario, Canada and between catering to two boys, studiously works on creating Art.    She is a member of the artist-run Zephyr Gallery in Orillia, Ontario &  part of the collective gallery Peter Street Fine Arts, also in Orillia.  Her work is available at both these locations.   She also operates an online Etsy Gallery Shop that features her small colourful abstracts and collage art.
